Dr. Herpreet Pawar was born and raised in North York, Ontario. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Brock University, followed by her Doctor of Optometry and Bachelor of Vision Science degrees at NOVA Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Pawar completed her clinical rotations at the Lake Nona VA Medical Center and Planet Vision Eyecare. She trained alongside ophthalmologists, treating various posterior segment diseases and managing pre- and post-operative care for cataract surgery and refractive procedures. She also specialized in keratoconus management, specialty contact lens fitting, and myopia control. Dr. Pawar completed her pediatric, binocular vision, and low vision rotations at NOVA Southeastern University. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time outdoors.
